Professional Registration & Certifications
For over 25 years, the Ohio Association of Child & Youth Professionals
has certified hundreds of individuals as Child & Youth Care Workers.
The Ohio Association has adopted a new child and youth care worker
registration and certification process. This new process offers
the following:

Child & Youth Care Worker Certification

Child & Youth Care Worker Supervisor Certification
The registration process does not require the completion of Tier I and Tier II Core Competencies for Child and Youth Care Professionals Training, but requires completion of the registration packet. The new certification process requires the completion of Tier I and Tier II Core Competencies for Child and Youth Care Professionals Training and the completion of the certification packet. Completed registration/certification packets will be reviewed for
approval by the Certification Committee of the OACYCP Board at least
quarterly.
