Professional Registration & Certifications
For over 20 years, the Ohio Association of Child & Youth Professionals has certified hundred's of individuals as Child & Youth Care Workers. The Ohio Association has adopted a new child and youth care worker registration and certification process. This new process offers the following:
- Child & Youth Care Worker Registration
- Child & Youth Care Worker Certification
- Child & Youth Care Worker Supervisor Certification
This new registration and certification process requires the completion of Tier I (for registration) and Tier II (for certification) Core Competencies for Child and Youth Care Professionals Training and the completion of the new registration/certification packet.

Complete Certification Packets will be reviewed for approval by the Board at least quarterly.
